stira [4]

Answer:

In his 'letter from Birmingham jail', King wrote of his Christian duty “to carry the gospel of freedom” across America (King 1963:78). He compared civil rights protestors' acts of civil disobedience to the resistance of biblical dissidents, Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego.

What was the expected British reaction to the Declaration of Independence?
lora16 [44]

The correct answer is - A war between the colonies and Britain.

After the Declaration of Independence and what it actually meant and encouraged the people in the colonies to do, the expected reaction from the British Empire was that it will try to use military force in order to keep the colonies under its control. And the expectations were true, as the British did launched a military campaign against the rebelling colonies, but the Americans were prepared for this and managed to withstand their ground and gained their desired independence, and that was a major blow for the British, especially from economic perspective.

Treatment of US soldiers during the Vietnam War
Sonja [21]
As being related to a Vietnam veteran, they were treated like lowest of the low. People believed the war was useless and a waste of American funds. Soldiers who came back had no respect what so ever. They were judged when wearing their uniform and called names. Most soldiers became antisocial due to their treatment.
