Answer:

The story lines have been shortened, and important details have been left out.

Explanation:

As this is an opinion question I can only give my take on this but as I read reviews I've noticed people mention things that have been left out a lot, so most people are disappointed in movie version of their favorite books because important details are left out.

What type of humorous device does Pope use in The (R ape) of the Lock?
topjm [15]

The answer is that the Pope used the reductio ad absurdum or mock-epic genre to weave humor into the poem, The R ape of the Lock.
The mock-epic genre resembles the epic in that its central concerns are serious and often moral. Although it is the idea of its style,it deviates from the epic in the fact that the approach must now be satirical rather than earnest is symptomatic of how far the culture has fallen.

Elza [17]

Answer:

Although he is very familiar with the island, if Rainsford panics, he may lose his sense of direction

If Rainsford is panicking, he is probably not being mindful of the likely easy-to-follow) trail he's leaving behind. If Rainsford is panicking, he might walk right by a magnificent walnut tree. If Rainsford is panicking, he may accidentally step on a black mamba snake
