LON was the first worldwide intergovernmental organisation whose principal mission was to maintain world peace. (Googled)

The founder of LON was Woodrow Wilson.

It was founded in January 10, 1920 but ceased in April 20, 1946.

"The Council was a coalition of the four permanent members: France, Italy, Japan, and the United Kingdom. Germany joined in 1926, but left in 1935. In September 1934, the Soviet Union entered the League of Nations.

Based on my information, I believe that the higher authorities that would choose the prime ministers would actually be the "house of commons". Going back a few years, many of the "house of commons" actually did not have the responsibility in order to do this, but then, the government figured that it would be better if they were to handle on this responsibility.

He reoccupied the Rhineland (demilitarized zone), he also rebuilt his army and his air-force but that was around the time when the disarmament conference failed so he used that as his excuse to rearm (other countries were doing the same). 

<span>I think this was in 1939 but he also had a political union with Austria which he wasn't allowed to do. </span>

<span>The allies did not do anything to prevent him from breaking the terms of the treaty as many people saw that it was too harsh on the germans so there was no point in protecting it.
