The taxes forced upon the American colonies made them angry and eventually led to protests and a full out revolution that the colonies won and formed the United States of America

Ship owners rebelled against the act. Because they did not want to do it, they rebelled.
The bill of rights (1689) guaranteed parliamentary rights that needed to be respected by the monarchs. It meant, a constitutional monarchy, where the power of the monarchs was limited by the Bill of Rights that protected the authority of Parliament.
