What is the physical pattern formed by the mountain ranges and rivers of mainland southeast asia
Arturiano [62]
The mountain ranges and rivers in Southeast Asia have made a stripe like relief in the mainland of this region. The mountain ranges are in a north-south direction and separate the region into few big elongated valleys, and the 5 big rivers also are moving from the north towards the south (southeast, southwest as well), and are running in between the mountain ranges and cut through the valleys.

Explain why a red apple appears red in daylight. Include which colours must be
Inessa [10]

Answer:

Red apples get their color from anthocyanins. ... When we look at a red apple, it's absorbing colors from the sunlight. It absorbs all the colors of the rainbow—except for red. The red light reflects off the apple and our brain and eyes work together to let us know what color we are seeing.

South of London is an example of absolute location.

Question 1 options:
True
False
miss Akunina [59]

Answer:

The statement 'south of London' is an example of 'absolute location' is false.

Explanation:

 • A location can be said to be an absolute location when it is defined with exact longitudinal and latitudinal coordinates.
 • For instance, the Royal Observatory in Greenwich, London can be said to be an example of 'absolute location' because its location can be pinpointed with the help of longitudes and latitudes.
 • When we say south of London, it can be the entire area that falls south of London, which cannot be an example of an 'absolute location'.
