Excerpt from The Care and Keeping of Big Cats Part C Kate McConaughey While most modern zoos do not teach animals to perform "tr

icks," they do train animals to respond to certain commands to make them safer to handle, move and for examination. This training emphasizes rewards for good behavior rather than punishment for bad behavior. Many zoos, and most sanctuaries and animal parks, have special plots where beloved animals are laid to rest. These are rarely open to the public.

Lines 6–8: What evidence in these lines reveals that this text is a memoir? How have events already shaped the author's ideas ab
dybincka [34]

Hello. You forgot to say that this question is about "Mississippi Solo."

Answer:

The author often uses the pronoun "I". In addition, he uses words that refer to his life in the past, where he reflects on things that happened.

Explanation:

A memoir is one in which a narrator tells things about his own past, showing experiences he has had throughout his life.

We can see that the lines shown above are a memoir, because the narrator uses the pronoun "I" several times, showing that he is talking about something that happened to him. In addition, the presence of verbs in the draw frame reinforces the idea that he is telling things that have already happened. He is writing what is in his memory, being then, a memoir.

Lapatulllka [165]

Answer:

The song of wandering Aengus it is a traditional poem and the way you can tell that is because it is a ballad. This poem like song uses end rhymes and a distinguished rhyme scheme that alternates every two or three lines. The meter is an unstressed syllable followed by a stressed one. The imagery of the authors emotions and the vivid landscape is truly authentic to itself. He also uses idioms " fire in my head " and hyperbole " plucking the silver apples of the moon and the golden apples of the sun"

Com-pu-ter, te-le-phone, au-to-mo-bile, traf-fic, sen-try, cor-net, real-is-tic, fan-a-tic, rep-et-it-ious, gi-gan-tic

I think those are right, because usually you hyphenate words if they don't fit on one line, and you're supposed to do that after the syllables. But I don't know if you're supposed to have multiple hyphens in one word..I did a hyphen at all syllables. Hope this helps you!
