During mitosis, chromosomes are moved and separated through the use of spindles composed of ________________ structures.
sesenic [268]

During mitosis, chromosomes are moved and separated through the use of spindles composed of microtubule structures.

Explanation:

Throughout mitosis, the chromosomes are initial replicated (copied) and so distributed into a pair of new "daughter" cells. They're replicated throughout the S section of interphase, and within the following phases (prophase, metaphase, anaphase, telophase) are organized, separated, and repackaged at opposite ends of the cell, at that purpose the cell divides. The strand of chromosomes split just like the cell throughout the cellular division. They split in half.

Research each insect, then compare and contrast the life cycles. You will need to write your observations and thoughts down. Be
kow [346]

Answer:

Larva and pupa is present in complete metamorphosis while nymph is present instead of larva and pupa in incomplete metamorphosis.

Explanation:

Complete metamorphosis has four stages i. e. egg, larva, pupa, and adult while the incomplete metamorphosis has three stages i. e. egg, nymph, and adult. Grasshopper, dragonfly, cicada and cockroach have incomplete metamorphosis while ladybug , housefly, butterfly  and honeybee have complete metamorphosis. Both type of insects lay eggs and after hatching a baby insect comes out called larva. After sometime this larva transforms from immature to mature, this stage is known as pupa. After pupa, the insect converts into an adult which is ready for reproduction. Nymph is a stage that comes in place of larva and pupa in incomplete metamorphosis. in this stage, the insect is small in size and lack of wings but in adult stage the wings appear.

Why is a skeptical attitude important in science?
Slav-nsk [51]

Answer and explanation;

-Some form of skepticism is essential to the scientific method. Ideally, researchers would form hypothesis based on a-prior theories or previous empirical evidence and use formal methods to test them.

-Skepticism can be defined as the attitude of subjecting claims to increasingly difficult tests before accepting them.

-Scientists are 'pretty confident' that life evolves on Earth according to the forces of natural selection because every single test they have made is consistent with this process. They do not 'know' that this is true but they are extremely confident.
