However, Southam injected patients(both healthy and unhealthy) with cancerous cells to see how their bodies would react. This was terribly wrong seeing that he put unsuspecting patients in danger. Elsie on the other hand, collected tissue samples from his patients to conduct his research which is a clear violation of their rights but clearly not as deadly as Southam's.
