When Scrooge was younger he used to care about his relationship with Belle, and his nephew Fred. As he got older he became meaner and he didn´t care that nobody cared about him. He liked being alone, he was mean to everyone and hated Christmas. As the Christmas Carol story went on he began to learn what would happen if he ignored what the ghosts told him. Scrooge learned to love Christmas and appreciate the Cratchits and his family.
