Exercise 3.6.9: 24 vs. "24"5 points
Anton [14]

This is all you need to do for this one add quotes around the number to make it a string. Then for the question I don't know if you need to answer it but I said that when there is only one string it creates and addition problem of 24 + 24 and then when there are two strings it puts them right next to each other making it look like the number 2424.

What are some of the advantages of using the F measure (weighted harmonic mean) over using the Precision & Recall when evalu
Art [367]

Answer and Explanation:

Some of the advantages of using the F measure (weighted harmonic mean) over using the Precision & Recall when evaluating an IR system performance are as follows-

  • Precision quantifies the number of positive class predictions that actually belong to the positive class.
  • Recall quantifies the number of positive class predictions made out of all positive examples in the dataset.
  • F-Measure provides a single score that balances both the concerns of precision and recall in one number.
  • A measure that combines precision and recall is the harmonic mean of precision and recall, the traditional F-measure or balanced F-score:

F=2((precision.recall)/(precision+recall))

Recall that within our BinarySearchTree class the root variable is of type BSTNode. A BSTNode object has three attributes: info
shutvik [7]

Answer:

False ( A )

Explanation:

The implementation is incorrect hence the return would be false and this is because : root.left is supposed to be NULL, root.right is supposed to be NULL and when  these conditions are met then the Binary tree would be empty.

The condition for the above statement would be represented as

if( root.left = = null && root.right == null &&root.info == null)

return true;

else

return false;
