There were a few stages alltogether for everyone who wanted to become a knight.
First, you had to have the right background (example - your father being a knight before you).
Then they would be brought up in a family up to the age of 7, where parents would teach them about knight-related things.
After this, they would be sent to lords or barons of different houses/castles, where boys would serve as a page.
After being a page for a certain time period, boys would progress to squires which were basically servants of knights. They had to help them get prepared for battle and also through this gained themselves many skills.
The last thing was actually becoming a knight where a cerenomy was required for everyone who wanted to undergo this ritual.

Right
away we can toss out D, as the patriots primarily consisted of local
militia with little training. We can also toss out C, as our new
country did not have any manufacturing capabilities (at least not for
weapons). The war was fought with weapons provided by other countries
and weapons that people brought from the original European homes. We
can also dismiss A. as we did not have a larger population than England.
The result is B. Washington was a skilled general who fought in the
French-Indian Wars.
"<span>B. a puppet government that was supported by foreign rulers" would be the best option, since these puppet governments almost always act in the best economic interests of the countries that put them there, not the countries in which they physically reside. </span>
This looks like a trick question, so, the best way to answer it would be by elimination:
Choice B is absolutely wrong. America’s entry into WWII was prompted by Japan’s attack on Pearl Harbor, and caused an immediate backlash against Japanese-American citizens.
Choice C is obviously wrong, since the relationship between Americans and Mexicans had nothing to do with WWII at the time.
Choice D is also wrong since women prospered during WWII. Since all the men had gone off to fight, industries needed workers more than ever as they were a important part in producing machinery for the war. Women were the only ones to fill these roles, and played a big part in manufacturing.
So, Choice A is the most logical decision.
