Recall a time when you recognized a false body image in the media. Describe the event and highlight one or more
Papessa [141]

Answer: Once upon a time, I saw a woman on Instagram where her body did not resemble reality.

Explanation:

We know today that Instagram is one of the most used social networks by thousands of people around the world. It is common to see hundreds of people who shape a perfect life: toned bodies, money and travel, are usually the cover letter of many accounts in this social network.

Once I was looking at photos randomly and I met this girl who had a spectacular body. She was promoting a clothing line and she looked great. Then in the comments, I see that several people are making related comments that the girl is not really like that. Many said she was a fake and that her body does not look like this. Among the comments, there was someone who published the name of another Instagram account and I clicked it when entering the account they were photos of the girl, but it looked very different.

In the account, you could see the girl with a very different body than the one she presented in that social network. I don't want to say that his body was ugly or anything like that, but if you see both photos you can doubt that they are the same people. Many called it false and selling an image that was not true.

When analyzing the situation I understood that if it was not the fault of the girl, she was doing a job for a store and if they decided to alter her image is something else. It may be that she has also influenced some tweaks, but in the end, we can understand the message they send to society. You have to meet certain requirements to fit, to be seen as pretty. The media for many years have maintained this image, which has contributed to the present cases of eating disorders such as anorexia and bulimia.

We know that the media use tools like Photoshop to change the body shape of a person, to make it look according to the beauty standards that society has established for many years.

A client with a recent diagnosis of type 2 diabetes has begun taking metformin. This drug will help the client achieve adequate
MatroZZZ [7]

Answer:

C. Improving insulin sensitivity.

D. Decreasing glucose absorption in the GI tract.

Explanation:

     Metformin (dimethylbiguanide) is an oral antidiabetic agent derived from guanidine. Metformin does not stimulate insulin secretion. In diabetics, metformin reduces hyperglycemia without the risk of causing hypoglycaemic accidents except in the event of fasting or in combination with insulin or other medicines.

      Metformin reduces hyperglycemia by:

  • increased peripheral insulin sensitivity and cellular glucose utilization;
  • inhibition of hepatic gluconeogenesis;
  • delayed intestinal absorption of glucose

   Peripheral action of metformin on insulin resistance is associated with possible post-receptor action, regardless of  insulin binding with insulin receptors. In addition to its antidiabetic action, metformin has a protective effect on angiopathy risk factors in humans, either directly or through its action on insulin resistance.
