Answer:

After 6 weeks Sarah will have $90

After w weeks she will have $10w + $30

Step-by-step explanation:

In order to solve this question we will need to make an equation that will tell us how much money Sarah will get after w number of weeks.

Firstly we have to understand that Sarah already has $30 which means that even if she work for 0 weeks she still will have $30 dollars, other wise saying $30 is the constant of the equation we are about t make. Secondly we need to understand that the word "can save additionl$10 dollars a week" mean that in "w" weeks she will get 10w extra dollars. Now let "y" be the number of dollars she will have after "w" weeks of saving. Knowing the information above we can write the following.

y = $10w + $30 (because she already has them and that is why we can add

                   them to the money she saves by working on the part time job)

Now that we found the answer to the second question we can easily find the answer to the first question by plugin in the "w" value.

Since we need to find out the number of money she will have after 6 weeks of saving we do...

y = $10w + $30

y = $10 x 6 + $30

y = $60 + $30

y = $90

Find the exact value of tan(sin^-1((-12/13))
lidiya [134]

Answer:

<em>2.399</em>

Step-by-step explanation:

Given the trigonometry expression:

tan(sin^-1((-12/13))

We are to find the exact value

tan(sin^-1((-12/13)) = tan(sin^-1((-0.9231))

tan(sin^-1((-12/13)) = tan(-67.38)

Also note that tan(-theta) = -tan theta

tan(-theta) = -tan67.38

tan(-67.38) = -2.399

<em>The exact value is 2.399</em>
