Every animal deserves to be loved, nurtured, and happy. They are living things, like us. They have blood, a heart, a brain, liver, lungs, a stomach, and etc. They can do as much, and more, as us. A rather simple, yet obvious solution to this would be to open more shelters rather than pounds and have animal control be less aggressive when trying to detain an animal.
