Since slope is found using the formula rise/run, first you identify the rise and run. From one point to another, the line goes up 2 full points (this is the rise). And it goes 3 points across (this is the run). Therefore, by using rise/run, the slope of this line is 2/3.

How do you solve this
PilotLPTM [1.2K]
Since 3=30/10, (30+1)/10=31/10. 31s/10=(30+1)/5 ( we get 30 because 5*6=30) = 31/5. Multiplying both sides by 10, we get 31s=62 (since 5 is a factor of 10, we can do 10/5 =2 and multiply 2 by 31). Dividing both sides by 31, we get s =2

Only 9 members of the math club showed up for yesterday's meeting. This is only 20% of the total amount of members. How many tot
jek_recluse [69]

Answer:

There is a total of 45 members in the math club.

Step-by-step explanation:

What I did is I multiplied 9 by 5 and got 45. I multiplied 9 by 5 because the question stated that 9 students are 20%. 20% times 5 would be 100%, which would be the total number of students.

Hope this helped :)
