Answer:

Explanation:

The Nigerian Civil War (also known as the Biafran War, Biafran Genocide and the Nigerian-Biafran War) was a civil war in Nigeria fought between the government of Nigeria headed by General Yakubu Gowon and the secessionist state of Biafra led by late Lt. Colonel Odumegwu Ojukwu (1933–2011) from 6 July 1967 to 15 January 1970. Biafra represented nationalist aspirations of the Igbo people, whose leadership felt they could no longer coexist with the Northern-dominated federal government. The conflict resulted from political, economic, ethnic, cultural and religious tensions which preceded Britain's formal decolonization of Nigeria from 1960 to 1963. Immediate causes of the war in 1966 included ethno-religious violence and anti-Igbo progroms in Northern Nigeria, a military coup, a counter-coup and persecution of Igbo living in Northern Nigeria. Control over the lucrative oil production in the Niger Delta also played a vital strategic role.

Within a year, the Federal Government troops surrounded Biafra, capturing coastal oil facilities and the city of Port Harcourt. The blockade imposed during the ensuing stalemate led to mass starvation. During the two and half years of the war, there were about 100,000 overall military casualties, while between 500,000 and 2 million Biafran civilians died of starvation.In mid-1968, images of malnourished and starving Biafran children saturated the mass media of Western countries. The plight of the starving Biafrans became a cause célèbre in foreign countries, enabling a significant rise in the funding and prominence of international non-governmental organisations (NGOs). The United Kingdom and the Soviet Union were the main supporters of the Nigerian government, while France, Israel and some other countries supported Biafra.

Which turning point would best start an era called "westward expansion"?
Studentka2010 [4]
Hmm, there were several triggering events that promoted westward expansion of the United States.  Victory in war over Mexico (1848) gave the US new lands in the west.  A treaty with Britain (also in 1848) gave the US sole possession of some formerly disputed Oregon territory lands also. Plus, in 1848, gold was discovered in California (land newly in US possession after that Mexican war treaty), so that prodded westward expansion too.  Perhaps those are the initial "turning points" you're looking for. The completion of the Transcontinental Railroad in 1869 sure helped the process as it was underway, as well.

an economic theroy that stresses government management of the production an distribution of goods is
Sedaia [141]

A economic theory that stresses government management of the production an distribution of goods is Socialism. Socialism is a theory where all of the moves, makings, or trading profits should be owned by the whole community, not just a few people. The reason why socialism would be your answer is because the government wants the have ownership of all of the goods and profits they make from things like trading and sales, and this especially effects the Government management that prioritize the distribution of goods, which helps out the economy. Socialism would not give all the power to the government, but also give power to the people too, and the government doesn't like that since they want all of the power to themselves, including all profits made from trades and sales.

One day Akash walked 2/3 km from home to school .On his return he took another route which was 3/5 km long .How many km did Akas
BlackZzzverrR [31]

Answer:

\huge\underline{\red{A}\blue{n}\pink{s}\purple{w}\orange{e}\green{r} -}

we've been given the distance Akash covers on his way to school and some other route and we've been asked to calculate the total distance he travels !

so we'll simply be adding up the distances and hopefully we'll obtain our final answer.

let's start ~

Total \: km\: covered = km\: covered \:on \: his \: way \: to \: school  + km\: covered \: on \: his \: way \: to \: some \: other \: route

Total \: km =  \frac{2}{3}  \: km +  \frac{3}{5}  \: km \\  \\ on \: taking \: LCM \:  \\  \\ \implies \:  \frac{10 + 9}{15}  \\  \\ \bold\red{\implies \:  \frac{19}{15} \:km}

hope helpful :D
