The Federalist Party was the first political party in the United States. Under Alexander Hamilton, it dominated the national government from 1791 to 1801. It became a minority party while keeping its stronghold in New England and made a brief resurgence by opposing the War of 1812. It then collapsed with its last presidential candidate in 1816. Remnants lasted in a few places for a few years. The party appealed to businesses and to conservatives who favored banks, national over state government, manufacturing, an army and navy, and in world affairs preferred Great Britain and opposed the French Revolution. The party favored centralization, federalism, modernization and protectionism

How did the aztecs go from being a poor, nomadic people to being wealthy empire builders?
noname [10]
I’m pretty sure they fought and conquered neighboring tribes. They also had Tenochtitlan, the capital, in the middle of lake Texcoco, which provided protection. They then defeated more tribes and taxed the tribes until the Aztecs were flourishing where they were invaded by Hernan Cortez

Did Burke most likely agree or disagree with the radical course of the French Revolution? How can you tell?
Allushta [10]

He disagree with the revolutions plans, not so much the revolution itself.

Because, he argued not the substitution as such but its programs: the French revolution needed to abolish the past of France and found a new, complex system, they make it work in actuality (and Burke said that it would not work). On the other hand, the American rebellion did not murder the British legacy: the different individual rights, the common law etc. For him, the uprising was supported by the very laws of British law.
