Given:

The base JK of isosceles triangle HJK is produced to L and angle J=69 degrees.

To find:

The measure of angle HKL.

Solution:

According to the given information draw a figure as shown below.

In triangle HJK, JK is base and base angles of an isosceles triangle are congruent.

\angle HJK\cong \angle HKJ

m\angle HJK=m\angle HKJ=69^\circ

JKL is a straight line. So,

m\angle HKJ+m\angle HKL=180^\circ (Linear pair)

69^\circ+m\angle HKL=180^\circ

m\angle HKL=180^\circ-69^\circ

m\angle HKL=111^\circ

Therefore, the measure of angle HKL is 111 degrees.

A movie theater sells adult and child tickets. An adult tickets (x=? Costs 8.75 and a child ticket (y) costs 6.50. The expression
Eddi Din [679]

Answer:

$326.25

Step-by-step explanation:

The question is incomplete as we were not given to numbers of adults and children, neveherless we can assume some figures and plug it into the expression

say number of adult is 15

and number of chidren is 30

In this problem we are going to the values of adults and children tickets into the expression for the total cost and return the answer, which is the total cost of tickets sold

given the expression

8.75 x+ 6.50y

substituting for x and y we have

8.75(15)+ 6.50(30)=

131.25+195=$326.25

The total cost for 15 adults and 30 children is $326.25

How do i make a equation with infinite solutions?
Igoryamba

Essentially, what you need to do is ensure that both sides cancel each other out to make 0 = 0

An example:

2(x + y) + 4 = (4x + 4y + 8)/2

2x + 2y + 4 = 2x + 2y + 4

0 = 0

Please help asap 25 pts + brainliest to right/best answer
MakcuM [25]

Answer:

C is the answer.

Step-by-step explanation:

We know that the quadratic equations has to have the x² sign in the equation, so this is a quadratic term. 6x² is the quadratic term because of the x². That means the answer cannot be the second or last choice. The equation doesn't contain the value -12x², so the first answer choice cannot be right. This leaves the third answer choice.
