A=-2(negative 2) b=3 and c=5 what is 3ac-a+2b.With explanation
KIM [24]

Step-by-step explanation:

a = -2

b = 3

c = 5

<h2>Question:</h2>

3ac - a + 2b

= Solution,

= 3 ( - 2 ) × 5 - ( - 2 ) + 2 × 3

here ... ( + ) × ( - ) = ( - )

= - 6 × 5 - ( - 2 ) + 2 × 3

here .... ( - ) × ( - ) = ( + )

= - 6 × 5 + 2 + 2 × 3

= - 30 + 2 + 6

= - 30 + 8

here the ( - ) have greater variable so...

= - 22

hence - 22 is the answer . ....

The students in Roberto's school are painting a mural that will be 15 feet by 8 feet. First they make a scale drawing of the mur
bixtya [17]

Answer:

Follows are the solution to this question:

Step-by-step explanation:

In point A:

The two-point C and y is given, where C is the scale drawing lengths  and y is the actual mural lengths so, the formed equation is:

\to \frac{c}{y}=\frac{2}{5}

In point C :

Using the value of the scale:

let  1 feet: 20 feet

therefore the equation is:

\to \frac{c}{y}=\frac{1}{20}

The size of c will be the length of:

\to c= \frac{y}{20}\\\\\to c= \frac{8}{20}\\\\\to c= 0.4\\

The diagram c scale width will be:

\to c= \frac{y}{20}\\\\\to c= \frac{15}{20}\\\\\to c= 0.75\\

Meat costs $8.00 per pound at a store. What is the slope?
-BARSIC- [3]

Answer:

The slope is 8.

Step-by-step explanation:

If you were to graph the price of meat per pound, you would need to choose the x-axis and y-axis labels.

The x-axis is the <u>independent</u> variable, meat in pounds.

The y-axis is the <u>dependent</u> variable, price in dollars.

The price depends on the number of pounds you buy.

Slope is calculated using rise over run, or:

m = \frac{rise}{run}

"Rise" is the number of squares going up.

"Run" is the number of squares going to the right.

In the graph below, <u>to go from one red dot to the next, you count 1 to the right and 8 going up</u>.

m = \frac{rise}{run}

m = \frac{8}{1}

m=8

Therefore, the slope is 8.
