in the book a long walk to water, from what tribe are the additional members that join Salva’s group?
kari74 [83]

Answer:

In the book "A long walk to water", the additional members that joined Salva’s group are from Jurchol Tribe.

Explanation:

'A Long Walk to Water' is story which is partially based on true story of Salva Dut. He was a Somalian from the Dinka tribe who wanted to escape the war that had destroyed his land. So, he trekked across his country and entered Ethiopia. Though they had no idea where they were going, had no food to eat but they kept moving. Salva was joined by a neighbouring tribe, Jurchol.

Salva led a group which had around 1,500 “lost boys”. They walked miles for more than 18 months through desert and three countries. Then they reached “Kakuma refugee camp” in North Kenya. Only 1,200 boys could reach Kenya. From here they got a sponsorship to go to U.S. in 1996.

Read the excerpt from The Great Gatsby. Instead of being the warm centre of the world, the Middle West now seemed like the ragge
natali 33 [55]

Answer:

The configuration item described is that of the geographic location of the scenic framework.

Explanation:

The novels are literary works which can refer to diversified themes; the novels are divided into a group of primary elements that should not be missing so that it has a good structure; these are:

 • The plot is a series of events that take place throughout the novel.
 • Characters: are the people involved in the development of the plot.
 • Scenic framework: it refers to the time and space (location) that the argument evolves.
 • Narrator: This may be one of the characters in the novel, whether the main or secondary, but he is responsible for telling the story.

In this case, in summary, The Great Gatsby refers to the context in which the narration is made, which refers to the scenic element of the geographical location in which the review is applied.

4. It is true that foxes have dark noses and possums have a bare tail, but it is different because these animals can talk and get along with each other.

5. The story suggests Grandmother Spider is wise and thinks about things before doing them.

6. I think "How Grandmother Spider Stole the Sun" is titled like this because the story is about how the spider used teamwork to get the sun for her and her friends.

7. When Quetzelcoatl got to the Sun, everyone groaned and complained.

"Quetzelcoatl, why do you have to be here? You are boring and bland just like the Earth."

Normally, Quetzelcoatl would have gotten very angry, but after everything he had done, he just cried. Soon, he had filled up the house of the sun with his tears. The water soaked all the musicians. They didn't want to sing ever again. The Sun and its musicians no longer sang. The Earth with all its plants shriveled up and died. Without music the Earth was nothing.
