Answer:

Life in the trenches were very rough the toilets were overflowed and the cold muddy, conditions. Another problem was the animals living in the trenches. the main animals rats, lice, frogs. The biggest problem was the rats because they ate the soldiers food and the actual soldier as they were sleeping. Disease were common in the trenches the main diseases were trench foot and trench fever. These disease were caused by lice. It was a nasty painful disease. although it was not life threatening it was debilitating and took 2-3 months to recover.

In the 2012 presidential campaign, Mitt Romney aimed to find common ground with these swing voters in order for them to eventually give their vote to him.
