A relative pronoun is a word that substitutes a noun and introduces a relative clause. This type of clause has the purpose of modifying a noun. The most common relative pronouns are <em>which, who, that, whose, </em>and<em> whom.</em> <em>Which</em> is used to refer to things or animals,<em> </em>while<em> who </em>and <em>whom a</em>re used to refer to people. The pronoun<em> that </em>can be used to refer to animals, things, and people. Sometimes, <em>when</em> and <em>where</em> can be used as relative pronouns as well.

Having that in mind, let's use the appropriate relative pronoun in each sentence.

A.The man who swims regularly is on a fat-free diet.

B. Richard goes to a swimming pool where he can  exercise every morning.

C. One of the women is on the diet that is meat-free.

D. My friend lives near a sport centre where he can go swimming.
