Answer:

Step-by-step explanation: Am not sure if this is the answer you guys are looking for but my in 9th grade and this is how my math teacher taught me how to do it.

one chocolate cake=?=x

one lemon cake=?=y

$270 spent

need to buy total of 18 cakes

1-chocolate cake =$7

lemon cake = $5

cakes 18=x+y

money $110=$7x+$5y

When i graphed it on the demos calculator i got (10,8).

So 10= the number of chocolate cake brought and 8= the number of lemon cake brought

Help!!! Need Anwser!!!
jolli1 [7]

Hello.

The answer is choice A. angle 1 = 118, angle 2 = 118

Explanation:

The four angles above are congruent (meaning the same) to the ones beneath.

Angles 1 and 2 are also congruent, so they will measure the same.

Lets label the angles above A, B, C, D. B being the known angle, which is 118°. The angles beneath can be labelled E, F, G, H.

∠B ≅ ∠D

∠ABCD ≅ ∠EFGH

∠BD ≅ ∠FH

FH (or 1 and 2) equal 118.

Identify the factors of x2 + 16y2.
BabaBlast [244]

The way to find the factores is by seeking the polonomial's roots, or zeros!

To find the roots, we set the polinomial equation to zero:

x^2+16y^2=0

Then we solve this equation:

x^2=-16y^2

This is only true, if x=y=0.

The graph below plots a function f(x):
Karolina [17]
By definition we have that the average rate of change of the function is given by:
AVR =  \frac{f(x2) - f(x1)}{x2 - x1}

Substituting values we have:
AVR = \frac{100 - 50}{2 - 0}
Rewriting we have:
AVR = \frac{50}{2}
AVR = 25
Answer:
If x represents time, the average rate of change of the function f(x) in the first two seconds is 25.
