4x+4y = 11 ...(3)

4x+4y-(3x+4y) = 11-10.25

4x+4y-3x-4y = 0.75

x = 0.75

Put the value of x in equation (2)

2(0.75)+2y = 5.5

1.5+2y = 5.5

2y = 5.5 - 1.5

2y = 4

y = 2
