Complete Question:

Read the passage below and answer the questions that follow.

Tropical rain forests once covered about 20 percent of Earth’s surface. Today, they cover only about 7 percent. Every minute of every day, 100 acres of tropical rain forest are cleared for logging operations, agriculture, or oil exploration. Habitat destruction occurs when land inhabited by an organism is destroyed or altered. If the habitat that an organism depends on is destroyed, the organism is at risk of disappearing. Animals and plants are not the only organisms that live in rain forests. An estimated 50 million native peoples live in tropical rain forests. These native peoples are also threatened by habitat destruction. Because they obtain nearly everything they need from the forest, the loss of their habitat could be devastating. This loss of habitat may force them to leave their homes and move into cities. This drastic change of lifestyle may also cause the native peoples to lose their culture and traditions along the way.

How are animals, plants, and humans similarly affected when a tropical rain forest is cleared?

Explanation:

The continents like Africa, South America and also Southeast Asia range among the greatest tropical rainforests in the planet, these are humid biome i.e both warm and moist, which are located close to the equator of the earth. There is 60 to 160 inches range of precipitate production, which is spread relatively uniformly all year round.

For an instance, recently the wildfire devastated the amazon rainforest during August 2019, due to which animals, plants and humans similarly got affected, which is given as follows:

 • It leads to the carbon dioxide sink and plays a remarkable role in mitigating global warming.
 • Many species of animals lost their habitat, many died which were rare to find.
 • Huge loss of plant species on which animals use to rely for their food supplies, also the dense canopy which were providing beauty to ecosystem have been lost.
 • Aquatic species might also be harmed by the fires which turn the water chemistry into a state that is unfit for life.
 • Many tribes use to reside in nearby location, dependent on animals and plants for their essentials.
 • Many industries of timber, perfume, and others got effected, as resources itself get destroyed form fire.

Describe how amoebas obtain food?
monitta
Amoeba acquires it food by endocytosis, that is, a small region in the plasma membrane which ultimately forms a intra-cellular membrane-bound vescicle. It engulfs it food using its pseudopodia (temporary protrusion of the surface of the amoeboid cell used for feeding and movement) and forms a vacuole around it. When the food is already trapped inside, it releases a digestive enzyme to digest it. Intake of liquid particles is pinocytosis (cell drinking) while intake of solid particles is phagocytosis (cell eating).

HELP ME PLEASE SOON BEFORE 1/4/2021
daser333 [38]
I’m not sure if that’s the answer but what immediately pops up in my mind is the food chain. Primary consumers (herbivores) consume producers (plants). Secondary consumers consume primary consumers etc. At the end of the day, all kinds of animals die and decompose, providing nutrients for producers to grow, continuing the circle of life.
Lion is a top predator that hunts secondary consumers. Simba’s father died and contribute to the circle of life. I hope it gave you some pointers!
