Answer:

The prism refracts the light, breaking it into its different wavelengths and making a rainbow.

Explanation:

A prism is a clear glass pyramid with identical faces. It is a special optical device.

Light wave can be defined as an electromagnetic wave that do not require a medium of propagation for it to travel through a vacuum of space where no particles exist.

White light is a type of light that comprises of all the colours that makes up the visible spectrum (ROYGBIV). It's the most common light humans interact with on a daily basis.

When white light is shined on a prism, the prism refracts the light, breaking it into its different wavelengths and making a rainbow. Thus, this lead to a phenomenon known as dispersion, which typically involves the separation of light into its full spectrum with respect to wavelength. Also, refraction causes dispersion in rainbows.

According to Sir Isaac Newton, refraction causes dispersion i.e the speration of white lights into its various wavelength.

The distance between two adjacent crests of a transverse wave?
Serhud [2]

The distance between two adjacent crests of a transverse wave is called the wavelength.

Wavelength is a property of a wave that can be spotted and used as a way of telling waves apart. The parts of the wave that point up are termed crests while any part that is sloping called a trough.

Wavelength is measured in meters. There is no definite spot  from which to start on a wave to measure wavelength. The most popular way of measuring wavelength is from crest to the next crest but can also be measured just as accurately from trough to trough.

Analyze: The yellow ring inside the bacterial cell represents the bacterial DNA. Why does this structure disappear by step 3 of
Mars2501 [29]

Answer:

Explanation:

This is because, during lytic cycle,

During the lytic cycle, genome willing f the virus always undergo replication and transcription and the enzymes then degraded the bacteria chromosomes which has been coded by the viral genome to produce deoxyribonucleotides that acts as monomers to in order to produce more viral DNA so that virus will be replicated the more.

The virus find it's way into the the bacteria, then take over the whole macromolecular production and degrade components that are in existence in bacteria so as to get new materials to replicate alot of copies of itself.

Is the following an example of a. Negative feedback loop b. Positive feedback loop Hydrochloric acid and pepsin are enzymes secr
Finger [1]

Answer:  This is a positive feedback loop.

Explanation:

The protein digestion in the body is an example of the positive feedback. The gastric secretions is stimulated chiefly by the action of three chemicals.

These chemicals are acetylcholine, histamin and gastrin. These chemicals stimulate the parietal cells to secrete HCL and intrinsic factors.

The chief cells secrete pepsinogen in response to the gastrin and ACh. As the dietary proteins are digested, it breaks down the amino acids and peptides.

This stimulates the G cells of the stomach to secrete more gastrin. This is how the positive feedback loop for the protein digestion works.
