Answer:

The prism refracts the light, breaking it into its different wavelengths and making a rainbow.

Explanation:

A prism is a clear glass pyramid with identical faces. It is a special optical device.

Light wave can be defined as an electromagnetic wave that do not require a medium of propagation for it to travel through a vacuum of space where no particles exist.

White light is a type of light that comprises of all the colours that makes up the visible spectrum (ROYGBIV). It's the most common light humans interact with on a daily basis.

When white light is shined on a prism, the prism refracts the light, breaking it into its different wavelengths and making a rainbow. Thus, this lead to a phenomenon known as dispersion, which typically involves the separation of light into its full spectrum with respect to wavelength. Also, refraction causes dispersion in rainbows.

According to Sir Isaac Newton, refraction causes dispersion i.e the speration of white lights into its various wavelength.

strojnjashka [21]

Answer:

e) a drive

Explanation:

We felt  thirsty when we have fluid imbalance in our body  either we have less water or we have more concentration of osmolytes such as sodium in blood. The brain detect the change produce the effect for the intake of water.

  • However thirst is a vital primordial emotion that motivates us for fluid intake. So the emotion produces a drive to quench it.
  • Some recent studies refers it as basic instinct to drink water.

Can someone help? Describe the ADP molecule and its function within a cell.
iogann1982 [59]
<span>The function of an ADP, or Adenosine diphosphate molecule, is to assist in the flow of energy throughout the cell. The basic structure of the molecule itself is made up of three main parts - a sugar backbone, which is attached one adenine molecule and two phosphate groups, which is then bonded to a 5' carbon atom of ribose. </span>

What chromosomes are found in body cells but not sex cells?
Leni [432]
None, egg cells don't have chromosomes. No, sex cells do have chromosomes. meiosis reduces chromosome number so that sex cells (eggs and sperm) have a half set of chromosomes–one homolog of each pair. This is the haploid number.

What is the difference between inductive and deductive reasoning?
murzikaleks [220]
The main difference between inductive and deductive reasoning is that when we're doing inductive reasoning we're trying to create formal rules or formal inferences from a limited set of information, while during deductive reasoning, we're trying to deduce what would happen in a certain case based on general information available.
