Assess and define what the key arguments are in this article. Do you agree with what the author is saying? What do you think wil

l be more important when interviewing for a job-- your academic knowledge or your personal aptitude and soft skills? Do you agree with the concluding statements of the writer? Share what you're currently doing to prepare yourself for college or a career outside of your academic studies.
Please write in complete sentences with complete thoughts.

(the article) Millennials are the largest generation of all time with more than 80 million members. They are the most educated and the most underemployed generation ever. Now, more than ever, competition is extremely high within the workforce. Employability isn't just about having a good GPA or the college you graduated from anymore, employers are looking specifically for candidates that have valuable life skills, behaviors and disciplines.

Employers look for the following behaviors: positive attitude, strong work ethic, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, problem solving skills, time management skills, flexibility, computer and coding skills, project management skills, self confidence, ability to accept feedback and strong research skills.

These skills, behaviors and disciplines will not necessarily appear as line items on a resume but are drawn out in conversation during the interview process. Employers also want to know that you will fit into their company culture. If you have a great resume on paper and graduated with Harvard but cannot connect with team members then you're less likely to get a job over a candidate that shows they are positive, upbeat, hard working and team oriented.

Companies are beginning to care less about what you know and more about how well you know yourself. Knowledge and information will continue to become less important compared to innovation and the ability to problem solve. Don't delay in crafting the non-academic skills and personal behaviors that you will need to succeed in life after high school.

Answer:

This article's main point is that education isn't everything when it comes to being hired. Having confidence, creativity, and people skills are much more likely to land you a job and make you stand out from others. It makes the point that, "[Millennials] are the most educated and the most underemployed generation ever." I believe this is due to the generation before them, being there parents, wanting them to get the best education possible because they didn't and they forgot to teach them what it means to be a genuine hard-working individual. I do agree with what the author is saying. I believe that your academic knowledge can give you a place on a list and into and interview but your soft skills are what is going to get you the job. Knowing how to persuade and how to seem trustworthy and confident will show employers that you will be a good employee to work with and that you will deliver quality work. In the concluding statement the author said, "Don't delay in crafting the non-academic skills and personal behaviors that you will need to succeed in life after high school." I agree with what the author is saying here, they want young adults or teenagers to start developing their skills outside of school so that they will be better prepared for life in the "real world." I have been working on my non-academic skills for a while now. I knew I needed to start working on these early because I was very shy, which is why I got a part time job. This job helped me to break out of my shell and develop communication skills that I will need to succeed in college and in life.

Examine any 3 importance of the study educational psychology to your profrssion
slega [8]

Answer:

In educational psychology, learning theories give good insight into the way the students learn. And once you know this, you can make the teaching-learning process 'learner centered' in real sense. It actually helps you to understand what are the needs of learner in the classroom, why he behaves in a specific way, why he responds in a way different from others and different from his own behaviour at different times. Once you understand the learner, you can design instructional strategies accordingly to make teaching-learning a successful experience.

Very simple example, when a student is not participating in the classroom activities or is less active in class, how can you decode whats going on in his mind? How can you help him and make teaching-learning more meaningful for him? The answers to such situations in class lies in educational psychology.xplanation:
