Pls help Annabelle and navene are multipleing something Idk
Lelu [443]

Answer:

Annabelle is correct.

Step-by-step explanation:

1. When multiplying two numbers with exponents, the exponents are always added and not multiplied. However, when there is an number with an exponent that has an exponent (for example (5^2)^3) you would multiply them.

2. Applying this to your question would make Annabelle's work correct and Navene's work incorrect.

Hope you understood!

X = 2t
y = t + 5, -2 ≤ t ≤ 3
Can you please graph this
svp [43]

Answer:

See attachment

Step-by-step explanation:

The given parametric equations are;

x=2t and y=t+5, -2\le t\le 3.

We can graph this by plotting some few points within the given range or eliminate the parameter to identify the type of curve.

Plotting points;

When t=-2,

x=2(-2)=4 and y=-2+5=3

This gives the point (-4,3).

When t=0

x=2(0)=0 and y=0+5=5

This gives the point (0,5).

When t=3

x=2(3)=6 and y=3+5=8

This gives the point (6,8).

We plot these points and draw a straight line through them.

Eliminating the parameter.

x=2t

y=t+5

Make t the subject in the second equation;

t=y-5

Substitute into the first equation;

x=2(y-5)

This implies that;

x=2y-10

y=\frac{1}{2}x+5

This is an equation of a straight line with slope \frac{1}{2} and y-intercept 5 on the interval

-4\le x \le 6

Find the measure of each angle. ∠EFG and ∠LMN are supplementary angles, m∠EFG=(3x+17)º, and m∠LMN=(12x−5)º.
krek1111 [17]

Answer:

∠EFG=(3× 11.2+17)º = 50.6°

∠LMN= (12×11.2−5)º = 129.4°

Step-by-step explanation:

We know that if two angles are supplementary two each other sum of these two angles is equal to 180°.

It is given that ∠EFG and ∠LMN are supplementary angles.

Therefore, ∠EFG +∠LMN = 180°

Given that: ∠EFG=(3x+17)º and ∠LMN=(12x−5)º

⇒ (3x+17)º + (12x−5)º =180°

⇒ (15x+12)° = 180°

⇒15x = 168°

⇒ x = 168°/15

x = 11.2°

Then, ∠EFG=(3× 11.2+17)º = 50.6°

Also, ∠LMN= (12×11.2−5)º = 129.4°
