How did Palestinian Arabs react to the plan proposed by the United Nations to divide Palestine into two separate states?
mario62 [17]
The "Palestinians" of the time were everybody who lived in the British mandate ... Jews, Arabs, Christians, and others, all of them 'Palestinians'. The surrounding Arab nations opposed the UN resolution to divide the mandate and I give the Jews administrative control over any of it. The Jews declared their piece to be a state. The Arabs didn't. And five Arab nations massed their military forces, and attacked Israel. Even though Israel was only days old, and had no army or air Force, the attackers failed to conquer Israel. That was almost 70 years ago. In that time, they have never absorbed the Arabs who left Israel, they have not built their own state, they still don't want Israel to exist, they have attacked it two more times, and now they teach their children to hate all Jews.

People disagree whether the United States should have gone to war against Mexico. Should the United States have declared war? Th
alekssr [168]

Answer:

1- The addition of Texas added to the happening to the Mexican-American War

2- The contention began, to a limited extent, over a contradiction about which waterway was Mexico's actual northern fringe: the Nueces or the Rio Grande

Explanation:

The fundamental driver of the war was the affirmation of Texas into the United States of America. Since Mexico didn't perceive Texas' freedom after their effective resistance to the Mexican government it was viewed as an intrusion into Mexican domain once Texas acknowledged the greeting into the United States.
