An electrshock method is used on indiviual fish to get a study sample. However, this method is hard on the fish. The research team wants to know the smallest number of fish that must be electroshocked to be at least 90% sure of getting a sample of two or more tagged trout. Please provide the answer. Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

High in the Rocky Mountains, a biology research team has drained a lake to get rid of all fish. After the lake was refilled, they stocked it with an endangered species of Greenback trout. Of the 2000 Greenback trout put into the lake 400 were tagged for later study. An electroshock method is used on individual fish to get a study sample. However, this method is hard on the fish. The research team wants to know the smallest number of fish that must be electroshocked to be at least 50% sure of getting a sample of two or more tagged trout.

we have to find out smallest number fish (n) that must be electroshoked to be atleast 50% &

species of Greenback trout of the 2000 greenback trout put into the lake 400

Solve each question and check your solution <br> -2(3x-4)=4(x+3)+6
agasfer [191]

Answer:

x = -1

Step-by-step explanation:

-2(3x-4)=4(x+3)+6

Distribute

-6x +8 = 4x +12 +6

Combine like terms

-6x +8 = 4x+18

Add 6x to each side

-6x+6x +8 = 4x+6x +18

8 = 10x+18

Subtract 18 from each side

8-18 =10x+18-18

-10 = 10x

Divide each side by 10

-10/10 = 10x/10

-1 =x

Please answer this correctly
Andrej [43]
I believe the answer is 120. 3 5/6 turns into 3.833 when turned into a decimal. 3.833 would round up to 4 which is the nearest whole number. 34 3/7 would turn into 34.4285 as a decimal which turns into 30 when rounded to the nearest ten.
