Answer:

to stop focusing on what people thought of me.

i use to think about it all the time, about what people thought of my hair or how i look and stuff like that.

I would always try to empress people, but now i dont care about what they think. i dress the way i want.... even if its not the cute stuff girls my age wear.

i'm all set with sweatshirt and pants when i go in public.

Tomtit [17]

According to the World Health Organization depression is ruled as one of the most disabling disorders in the world, affecting roughly one in five women and one in ten men at some point in their life. It is estimated that 21% of women and 12% of men in the U.S will experience an episode of depression at some point. It is twice as common in women than in men because they undergo the stress of jobs, tending to children, maintaining a home, and taking care of older relatives. Some of these reasons are unclear as to why women suffer more majorly from depression than men but some believe it is because women are more sensitive therefore are more likely to report such symptoms. Moreover, people suffer from different types of depression disorders. Today it is a common disorder in older people, but most doctors and parents are reluctant to categorize a young adults symptoms as true depression.
