Empire of central mexico from the 1300s to the 1500s
Dafna11 [192]

Answer:

The Aztec Empire was an entity of territorial, political and economic control that existed in the central area of Mesoamerica before the Spanish conquest and colonization. It was located in the center of the Valley of Mexico.

According to oral tradition, the Aztecs should create a large city where they found an eagle devouring a snake perched on a cactus. In the year 1325, those in charge of leading the Aztec spirituality, found this scene on an islet near Lake Texcoco, and there they created the city called Tecnochtitlán.

In a dictatorship how is the rule of law regarded
Alinara [238K]
The rule of law isn't regarded or respected at all. The ruler can break the rules as they please because in dictatorship, one person has absolute power.

i.e.: The country Sneep ( clearly fictional) is under a dictatorship. The ruler is Jeff.
There's a rule forbidding people from scratching in public.
Jeff scratches himself in public.

Only Jeff finds relief to his itches in public.

During the 1840s, more Americans than British settled in the Oregon Country. How do you think this settlement influenced negotia
Lemur [1.5K]
<span>The Treaty of 1818 between the US and Britain stated the Oregon Country would be jointly occupied by the US and Britain. But it resulted in disputes between Americans and British and another treaty, the Oregon Treaty, was signed in 1846. It stated the Oregon Country would be divided in two. The US would get all the land south of the 49th parallel (which eventually became the states of Washington and Oregon) and the British would get all the land north of the 49 parallel (which became British Columbia). Except for Vancouver Island off the coast of the Oregon Country, 4/5's of Vancouver Island was north of the 49th parallel so the US said Britain could have all of it instead of splitting it at the 49th parallel.
