Secretors (genotypes ss and ss) secrete their a and b blood group antigens into their saliva and other body fluids, while nonsec

retors (ss) do not. what would be the apparent phenotypic blood group proportions among the offspring of an iaib ss woman and an iaia ss man if typing was done using saliva?

As you can see from the image presented below when parents with AB Ss and AA ss genotypes cross we get three distinct phenotype groups.
Marked in red are the individuals whose A type blood we can determine from the saliva because they have at least one S allele.
Marked in light green are the individuals whose AB type of blood we can determine from the saliva too.
And marked in orange are the individuals that are homozygous recessive for the s allele, and we could not determine their blood type from their saliva.

You are working on a forensics team and collecting some cells from a crime scene. The cells are angular, rigid, and have a cell
Paraphin [41]

The cells are angular, rigid, and have a cell wall made up of cellulose. This sample most likely came from a plant.

  • Chloroplasts, cell walls, and intracellular vacuoles are a few characteristics that set plant cells apart.
  • Chloroplasts are responsible for photosynthesis, cell walls provide plants the strength to stand upright, and vacuoles control how cells handle water and store other molecules.
  • Plants have a specific cell wall in addition to a cell membrane. Cellulose, a thick material containing several sugar units, makes up this.
  • This allows plants to seem rigid and robust because of their thick feature.
  • Human cells, in contrast, lack a cell wall and are more flexible and spherical than plant cells.
