Answer: Im not sure of how many reasons but here are a few  1.) Allows student to better skills in team work and collaboration with their peers. 2.) Outlet for some students to take off stress from school work 3.) Helps kids burn off calories from any sugar took in for insufficient diet. 4.) Helps student develop quick thinking skills.
