Due to her love for luxurious things, she borrowed a diamond piece from her friend to wear to a party. She lost the diamond and has to use huge amount of money to replace it, not knowing that, the diamond she lost was a fake one. This plunged her into deeper poverty and she only realized her mistake ten years later.
