Are the current protests in the African American Community as effective as the ones of the 1960s why or why not?

History

The answer is no because the African American community used to have a speaker and they knew what they wanted and what are their rights. Right now there is no strong leader and they are not united about why are they protesting, some are protesting for bad quality of life, some for police brutality and some as laid workers. Another reason is that in the 1960s there was response from the government giving them more and more rights right now after the protests, nothing actually happened except showing anger from the African American community.

Which of the following was one effect of the sepoy rebellion?
lesantik [10]

The correct answer is D) the British Parliament put India under the rule of the British government and monarchy.

An effect of the Sepoy Rebellion was that the British Parliament put India under the rule of the British government and monarchy.

In 1858, the British dissolved the Sepoy Rebellion, also known as the Indian Mutiny. The Sepoy Indian troops initiated what it was considered the first independence war in India. The result was that the British monarchy dissolved the East India Company and the British government directly ruled India. The first things that the new government did was to reorganize the finances and the army. So it is true that an effect of the Sepoy Rebellion was that the British Parliament put India under the rule of the British government and monarchy.
