Answer:

60

Step-by-step explanation:

43+35= 78 and 180-78=102, so both angles at E are 102, and then you add 18 to get 120 and 180-120= 60.

A northern elephant seal made 60 dives in 12 hours at this rate how many dives did the sea turtle make in seven hours
Galina-37 [17]
The answer is 56! I used a double number line! You have to get the unit rate first! Unit means 1, you have to get from 12 to 1! I did 12 divided by 12, and got 1! Whatever I do to the bottom I do to the top. So I divided 60 by 12 and got 5. Now we have to get to seven, so I multiplied 1 x 7 and got 7. Than I multiplied 5 times 7 and got 56! I hope <em>I helped!    :D</em>

5/9(g + 18) = 1/6g +3
dangina [55]

For this case we have the following equation:

\frac {5} {9} (g + 18) = \frac {1} {6} g + 3

Applying distributive property on the left side of the equation we have:

\frac {5} {9} g + \frac {5 * 18} {9} = \frac {1} {6} g + 3\\\frac {5} {9} g + \frac {90} {9} = \frac {1} {6} g + 3\\\frac {5} {9} g + 10 = \frac {1} {6} g + 3

Subtracting \frac {1} {6} g to both sides of the equation:

\frac {5} {9} g- \frac {1} {6} + 10 = 3\\\frac {6 * 5-9 * 1} {9 * 6} g + 10 = 3\\\frac {30-9} {54} g + 10 = 3\\\frac {21} {54} g + 10 = 3\\\frac {7} {18} g + 10 = 3

Subtracting 10 to both sides of the equation:

\frac {7} {18} g = 3-10\\\frac {7} {18} g = -7

Multiplying by 18 on both sides:

7g = -7 * 18\\7g = -126

Dividing between 7 on both sides:

g = \frac {-126} {7}\\g = -18

Thus, the value of g is -18.

ANswer:

g = -18
