Answer: Ibn Battuta was impressed by Mansa Musa, Mali’s most famous ruler. Mansa Musa let his subjects practice different religions. However, he was devoted to spreading Islam. Mansa Musa used his empire’s wealth to build more mosques. In Timbuktu, Mansa Musa set up libraries with books from around the Muslim world. In 1324, Mansa Musa increased the fame of Mali during a journey to Mecca. All Muslims are expected to travel to the Muslim holy city of Mecca. While in Mecca, Mansa Musa met scholars of Islam (probably with gold). He convinced them to return with him to Mali. They helped spread Islam in West Africa.

LuckyWell [14K]
The correct answer choice is D.

Because the second amendment involves the "right to bear arms," the federal government would be unable to pass a law preventing citizens to carry concealed weapons. This amendment makes that federal action unconstitutional.

Which event signaled a directional change for the SNCC? the assassination of Malcolm X in 1965 the formation of the Black Panthe
12345 [234]

The correct answer is: "the rise of Stokely Carmichael to leader of the SNCC".

The acronym SNCC stands for Student Nonviolent Coordinating Committee, which was one of the main organization that arose during the Civil Rights Movement in the decade of the 1960s. It was originated after the wave of sit-in performed by students. IT was an institution with a direct implication in transforming the communities and their organization. For example, they coordinated voter registration or freedom schools for African Americans.

In the later 1960s, the arrival of more fierce leaders such as Stokely Carmichael meant a shift in the strategy of the organization, that even changed its name to Student National Coordinating Committee, to make clear in which aspects they had changed.
