Answer:

3960

Step-by-step explanation:

180=2×2×3×3×5

792=2×2×2×3×3×11

LMC=2×2×2×3×3×5×11

LMC=3960

how many pounds of candy worth $12 per pound should be mixed with candy costing $19 per pound to produce a 70 pound mixture that
sweet-ann [11.9K]

Answer:

40 pounds

Step-by-step explanation:

Given: Cost of a candy (c_1)= \$ 12 per pound

           Cost of candy (c_2) = \$ 19\ per\ pound

           Total amount of mixture of be produced = 70\ pound

           Selling price of mixture = \$ 15 \ per\ pound

Let´s x be the amount of c_1 to be mixed in the mixture.

∴ Cost of c_1 in the mixture = 12x

Next, Cost of c_2 in the mixture = (70 - x)\times 19

And we know the cost of final mixture = 70 \times 15 = 1050

Now, putting all the value in the equation

⇒ 12x + 19 \times (70 - x) = 1050

⇒ 1330 - 7x = 1050

⇒ -7x = -280

∴ x = 40\ pound

∴ 40 pounds of candy worth $12 per pound to be mixed in the mixture.

Which of the following equations can be used to find the length of EF in the
Vinil7 [7]

The equation which can be used to find the length of EF is option A which is  EF=\sqrt{24^{2} -12^{2} }.

Given the length of base of right angled triangle is 12 and the hypotenuse be 24.

We are to find the length of EF and tell which equation can be used to find the length of EF.

We know that pythagoras theorem applies in a right angled triangle.

Pythagoras theorem says that in a right angled triangle the square of the hypotenuse is equal to the sum of square of base and perpendicular.

H^{2} =B^{2} +P^{2}

In this triangle we are only given base and hypotenuse and we have to find EF which is perpendicular.

(DE)^{2} =(EF)^{2} +(DF)^{2}

EF=\sqrt{DE^{2}-DF^{2}  }

=\sqrt{(24)^{2} -(12)^{2} }--1

=\sqrt{576-144}

=\sqrt{432}

Hence the equation which can be used to find the length of Ef is option A which is  EF=\sqrt{24^{2} -12^{2} }.

Question is incomplete as it should include the figure also.

Incomplete question. The full question read;

The producer of the news station posted an article about the high school’s football championship ceremony on a new website. The website had 500 views after four hours. Create a table to show how many views the website would have had after the first, second, and third hours after posting if the website receives views at the same rate. How many views would the website receive after 5 hours?

Answer:

<u>625 views</u>

Step-by-step explanation:

<em>Remember,</em> we are told to <u>base our calculation on the assumption that the website receives views at the same rate.</u>

Hence, if after 4 hours there were 500 views, it means the average views per hour would be 500/4 = 125 views. So for every hour, there would be 125 added views to the total.

In other words,

First hour: <u>125 views</u>

Second hour:<u> </u><u>250 views (125 views + 125 views</u>)

Third hour: <u>375 views (250 views + 125 views)</u>

Fourth hour: <u>500 views (375 views + 125 views)</u>

Fifth hour:<u> 625 views (500 views + 125 views)</u>

a triangle with vertices at A (-1,1), B(-2,1) C(-1,4) is translated. the image of vertex A has coordinate at (3,-1) determine th
Drupady [299]
For this case we have the following vertices:
 A (-1,1) --------> A '(3, -1)
 B (-2.1)
 C (-1,4)
 We note that the translation rule is:
 (x, y) -----------> (x + 4, y-2)
 Applying the translacion rule we have:
 B (-2, 1) -----------> (-2 + 4, 1-2) ------> B '(2, -1)
 C (-1, 4) -----------> (-1 + 4, 4-2) ------> C '(3, 2)
 Answer:

The image of vertex B or the image of Vertex C are:

B '(2, -1)

C '(3, 2)
