Answer:

b. You had an immunological memory of that virus

Explanation:

Immunological memory can be define as the process that occur when the immune system recognize or remember the toxin that the body has encountered before, thereby making the body to have the same toxin and this can happen so quickly.

Which was what happened according to the scenario where the friend acquired flu like symptoms for been exposed to the woman virus. In this case the immunological memory begins to remember the virus that the friend body has been expose to, then quickly start to make her body react same way due to the initial exposure to the virus.

This simply means the friend body had an IMMUNOLOGICAL MEMORY OF THE VIRUS

Answer:

You had an immunological memory of that virus.

Explanation:

The human body is made up of complex defence system called immune system. This immune system helps in prevention of foreign substances such as bacteria, viruses from invading the body system. It is divided into two major types: INNATE AND ACQUIRED IMMUNITY.

innate immunity is the inborn resistance that is present even before the first entry of a pathogen into the host. On the other hand, acquired immunity is the resistance that is absent at the first exposure to a pathogen but develops after being exposed to the pathogen. The second and subsequent entry of the same microbe will induce stronger and quicker immune response against the microbe.

Therefore, between me and my friend, I have been exposed to the virus before and have developed an immunological memory of the virus through acquired immunity while my friend hasn't been exposed to that particular virus before. She developed fever and chills because the body is trying to fight against the virus through the innate immune system. I hope this helps, thanks!
