He is known as Madiba by the people of his nation.

Nelson Mandela received deep respect within South Africa, where he is known as by his Thembu clan name, Madiba, which means as the "Father of the Nation". This name is given to Nelson Mandela because of their sacrifices which they given for the welfare of his people so that's why people loved and respect him and considered him as a father of the nation.
