Answer:

im almost positive that you can leave it just like that because they aren't like terms so there's nothing to simplify but I put it into Symbolab and told it to simplify 15x + 5 and it gave me 5\left(3x+1\right) then put 5\left(3x+1\right)\\ back into the calculator and it gave me 15x + 5 so I think that it's perfect the way you had it :) hope this helps

Emily made a fruit salad with 1 2/3 cups of grapes 2 1/4
siniylev [52]

Answer:

C 1 8/12 + 2 3/12 + 2/12 =

Step-by-step explanation:

Constituents of the fruit salad prepared by Emily:

  • \[1\frac{2}{3}\] cups of grapes
  • \[2\frac{1}{4}\] cups of strawberries
  • \[\frac{1}{6}\] cups of blueberries

This can be expressed as follows:

\[1\frac{2}{3}+2\frac{1}{4}+\frac{1}{6}\]

This can be equivalently expressed as :

\[1\frac{8}{12}+2\frac{3}{12}+\frac{2}{12}\]

Among the given options, this corresponds to option C.

Evaulate the definite integral (The s is the integration symbol with indicated values)
Blizzard [7]
\displaystyle\int\limits_{t=1}^{t=4}\frac{t^6-t^2}{t^4}\,\mathrm dt=\int_1^4\left(t^2-\frac1{t^2}\right)\,\mathrm dt=\left(\frac13t^3+\frac1t\right)\bigg|_{t=1}^{t=4}

which evaluates to \dfrac{259}{12}-\dfrac43=\dfrac{81}4.
