Answer:

1)  I’m French and fighting for France on the Western front against the Germany Eastern front.

2)  Stuck in a dark, deep trench for the past 3 weeks and smelling decrepit bodies all around me.

10)  When this is over, I’m getting on an aircraft going straight home dead or alive!
