Answer:

The step which a conservation scientist might take to repair the damage caused in western Brazil is:

- plant new trees

Explanation:

Restoration of deforested areas is always possible.  What is required for a successful restoration of the environment is political will.  Planting new trees is important to replace trees that have been lost to logging and farming activities.  Some trees are more adaptable to certain environments.  For example, date palm trees can be planted in arid land with high survival rates.  Such trees will also provide food for the farming community.

During the constitutional convention, small states such as New Jersey argued that
Margaret [11]

Answer:

The correct answer is C) All states should have same number of congressional representatives.

Explanation:

New Jersey wanted equal representatives for all States, regardless of the geographic size of the State or it's population.

New Jersey believed this was fair, gave each State an each representative and at the same time, provided a degree of Independence from the Federal Government.

However, this proposal was eventually rejected and eventually a new deal was reached which is now known as the Connecticut Compromise.  A ratified form of this deal is currently included as part of the Constitution.
