The Galleon trade introduced by the captains of the Spanish Navy in the 1500s. Alvaro de Bazan and Pedro Menendez de Aviles designed the long and narrow galleon. The galleon trade was for communication between Spain and the Philippine colony and served as financial aid for the Spaniards. Manila became one of the busy ports, serving trade connection between China and Europe.
