In 1519, during the exploration of Herman Cortez, a Spanish voyager under the command of King of Castile, led his group to Tenochtitlán territory, where he was able to meet their ruler Moctezuma II, the ruler of the Aztec empire. However, Aztec sent silvers and golds to Hernan Cortes, believing the latter might be a god (Quetzalcoatl). Even though, Cortes and his fellow Spanish would later kill Moctezuma and fight off the people of Aztec.
