the literal meaning is "that society hates black people yet they copy them" basically saying that people do be getting bigger lips and eyes, yet they still don't see them as equals. the deeper meaning is that most of the country is white, and they want the black people to leave, even though they're gonna steal they're features. I think by saying "That I should stop trying to be ‘Black’ and just try to be me" they mean to stop being "ugly and unwanted and to just be 'normal'" like other white people when at the end of the day, we are the same.
