All sides would be √11.31 I believe.

Step by step:

A^2+B^2=16^2

Multiply 16 by 16

A^2+B^2=256

Shape is a square so change B^2 to A^2

A^2+A^2=256

add with like terms

2A^2=256

Divide both sides by 2 to get rid of the 2 in FRONT of A

(2A^2/2)=(256/2)

A^2=128

Finally, find the root to both sides.

A=√128

To get...

A=√11.31

This is the simplest form. Hope this helps!

Identify the X intercept and the yIntercept of the line 4x-2y=-12
sammy [17]

Answer:

X-intercept = -3 and y-intercept = 6

Step-by-step explanation:

We can start off by isolating the y term. To do that, we must add 2y to both sides to get

4x=2y-12

Now, we must add 12 to both sides and the y term will be all alone on the right side:

4x+12=2y

Now, to have only y on the right side, we must divide by 2 to get:

y=2x+6

In slope-intercept form, b is the y-intercept, and 'b' in this equation is 6. We have our y-intercept.

To find our x-intercept, y must be equal to zero. We can plug in that value for y and solve for x:

0=2x+6

We can start off by subtracting 6 from both sides to get:

2x=-6

We can then divide both sides to get x=-3 when y is equal to 0. Thus, we have our x-intercept.

Nola Potter earns a salary of $1,200 a month and a commission of 7.5% on all sales over $4,000. This month her sales were $21,40
masya89 [10]

Answer: $5,605

Step-by-step explanation:

Monthly earning = 1200

Commission = 7.5% on sales over 4000

Current month sales = 21400

Total monthly earning :

$4000 + commission on sales over 4000

Total earning for the current month:

$4000 + commission on sales

Commission on current month's sales:

7.5% of 21400

0.075 × $21,400

= $1605

Total amount earned :

$4000 + $1605 = $5,605
