What is the average atomic mass of a sample that has two isotopes, one with a mass of 21 amu at 62% abundance and another with a
motikmotik

Answer:

Average atomic mass = 21.38 amu.

Explanation:

Given data:

Mass of first isotope = 21 amu

Abundance of first isotope = 62%

Mass of second isotope = 22 amu

Abundance of second isotope = 38%

Average atomic mass = ?

Solution:

Average atomic mass  = (abundance of 1st isotope × its atomic mass) +(abundance of 2nd isotope × its atomic mass)  / 100

Average atomic mass  = (62×21)+(38×22) /100

Average atomic mass =  1302 +836 / 100

Average atomic mass = 2138 / 100

Average atomic mass = 21.38 amu.

Explain the connection between your  body and supernova
svet-max [94.6K]
Well our bodies are made from atoms which are also in supernovas. theoretically atoms make everything so that could be a connection. also, supernovas and bodies all have a time clock, or they were born at one point and will end up dying at one point.

What is biochemistry??
77julia77 [94]
Biochemistry is the study of the actions of the main metabolic processes of living organisms, which are protein synthesis (DNA and RNA molecules, genetic codes and how they work, enzyme formation and function, etc), glycolysis (cellular respiration, aka the Krebs cycle/citric acid cycle to break down glucose molecules to release chemical energy and oxydative phosphorylation, the use of that chemical energy to form ATP molecules in which the chemical energy is put in a form the cell can use, and lipid chemistry (the study of the pathways in which fatty acids are formed into lipids and fat molecules and cholestrol formation and function).
Essentially, biochemistry covers the chemical reactions necessary for cellular and organism metabolism
