Answer:

1) 55/6=9.16666666667ounces each (you can round this up if you have to)

2) (2/3)*26=84acres

3) 123/30=4.1 (you will need 5 cans)

4) 42/3=$14 (for each person, it doesnt say he is spending on the dog, but if he was including the dog it would be $10.50)

5) They can each have two whole muffins, then the last two muffins have to be evened out to 2/3 of a muffin each which is 0.67. ( so they get 2\frac{2}{3} each)

6) Jacob ate 1/3 of candy (which is 0.34 of a pound) while Louis ate 7/9 of candy (which is 0.78 of a pound) so Louis ate more

7) 1/5 is 1 ÷ 5 = 0.2

   4/8 is 4 ÷ 8 = 0.5

   9/12 is 9 ÷ 12 = 0.75
